We are a very active social and recreation group for gay and bi
men, 35 and up, who meet regularly in the Vancouver, British Columbia,
Canada area to share common interests such as pot luck dinners,
dining out, pub nights, playing bridge, theatre, walks and more.

is to provide gay and bisexual men, and their admirers, with opportunities
to come together in a supportive atmosphere to enjoy social, educational,
and recreational activities."
The strength of Prime Timers is in member participation. Group activities
are successful as members with a special interest and / or expertiese
are involved in planning and organizing each activity. Large groups
have the clout to negotiate lower rates on all kinds of activities.
We engage in a wide variety of activities,
i.e. Bridge, Brunches, Afternoon Coffee, Buffet Dinners, Camping,
Coffee Nights, Cycling, Dining Out, Golf (Par 3), Lunches, Monthly
Meeting, Movie/Video Nights, Pot Luck Dinners, Pub Night, Social
Gatherings, Theatre, Walks along Vancouver's noted seawall. If there
is something that appeals to you and isn't in our activities, you
can always start a new activity.
We have a Board of Directors which meets once a month to plan activities
for the months ahead.
Activity Coordinators are important part of Vancouver Prime Timers
as they source and organize venues and people (as required) for
their activities, and where activities involve cost for tickets
and meals, etc., the best possible reduction in normal pricing based
on group purchase. Activity Coordinators also champion and promote
their activities to members.
